The recall was issued after consumers found the foreign material in the food and reported the issue to the company. At least one person may have choked, The Associated Press reported.
"We are working with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) on this recall and will cooperate with them fully," Nestle wrote in a statement.
