Our first pharmacy was established in 1993 to provide services to members of the former John Deere Family Healthplan. Since that time, we have expanded to provide services to our entire community. We are conveniently co-located with Family Care Partners (formerly John Deere Medical Group of the Quad Cities, P.C.), Bettendorf, Iowa. AmiCare Pharmacy offers a wide variety of value added services, such as vet meds for your pets, free mailing of prescriptions, flavoring of liquid medications to make the taste more palatable for children and counseling by a friendly staff of pharmacists and technicians. Our goal is to make your pharmacy experience the absolute best it can be.
AmiCare Pharmacy offers fast and friendly service, making it convenient for you to pick up any prescriptions your physician may have prescribed during your visit. Using the latest in information technology and high speed network access, the pharmacy can have your prescription filled very quickly, allowing more time for patient counseling. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about your particular prescription.
We have launched this initiative because families are busier than ever and well-planned, nutritious meals are often neglected. A nutritious diet is more important than ever in avoiding disease but healthy eating isn’t always possible. A vitamin supplement may be beneficial.
The line of vitamins included in this offer is limited to our AmiCare brand children’s chewable vitamins. They will receive a one month supply, which can be refilled monthly free of charge.

We fill prescriptions for most insurance plans including UnitedHealthCare, Wellmark, Blue Cross-Blue Shield, Caremark, Medco, ProVantage, RX America, DPS, NPS, and Humana.
We offer complete pharmaceutical care for our patients utilizing state of the art computer technology. For your convenience we have added an automatic answering system at our pharmacy to save you time when calling in your refill numbers. You may also leave messages for the pharmacy staff during or after business hours.
Using Refill Rx on this web page you can order refills over the internet, view your prescription profile, obtain refill information, and view drug information for your prescriptions.
If you need a refill of a prescription originally filled at another pharmacy, you must call or bring your containers to AmiCare Pharmacy three days before you need your refill(s). This will allow the time necessary to contact your previous pharmacy to obtain a copy of the original prescription. It will also give us adequate time to order your medication if necessary.
